Talkin' Toys: Basket-Bounce

I decided after doing a couple of these posts that they don't quite fit in the vision I have for this blog but I didn't want to leave anyone hanging from what I ended up grabbing.

So two parts will suffice.

Anyone remember life before video games? I do. These hand flip games was where it was at. This one is a basketball version you gotta pull the trigger downwards to try and shoot and make it in the hoop.

It shows you on the back how to play which for most should be pretty obvious.

This game is from 1987, there are older versions from the 70's which I don't have. With  four of these to be had on a table, I grabbed them all. They go for anywhere between $4-$12 which is great for getting these for free at the end.

Let me know in comments if you played this game or anything similar.

  1. I don't remember life before video games. I do however remember being able to enjoy things like this despite video games being around.

  2. When I was really young I think I had something similar with the downward-facing flipper, but I can't remember if it was basketball, another sport, or just a pinball-type game.

Regardless, I would love to see more of these kinds of posts on the blog.

  3. Never played one of these before. Life before video games involved Star Wars action figures, Shogun Warriors, and Lincoln Logs.
