CARDBOARD REVIEW:2019-2020 Topps Match Attax UEFA

Do you wanna play a game?

Sorry, not channeling my inner Jigsaw.

I am asking you if you like to play Topps Match Attax UEFA Champions League style? Topps has recently released the latest edition that can help you play both the physical game and for you technology guys, online as well.

Let's check it out!

In each box of 2019-2020 Topps Match Attax there are 50 packs of 6 cards each. This is a display box. There are a few options to go with when it comes to these. Boxes are about $60.

Each pack also comes with a QR code to unlock a free digital pack which I won't use. I prefer physical items but it's a great option for those who like to do both.

The first thing I noticed about the card was the smell. They smell good like a clean fresh packed out card printed on a plastic coating that helps it from game wear.

There are 380 base cards to collect if you are going straight for the cards and not the game or maybe both.

Most chase cards fall 1:2 or 1:3 packs. I almost found one per pack of some form. Some also look really good just to have as collectibles.

Pro Performer

Record Holders. Look at that shine!

Same shine, but silver on the Man Of The Match

A glitter type shine on 100 Club

MVP of Ronaldo is definitely a collectible in itself.

Well, that does it for the break. My overall thoughts is I like it. Now I just need to find a mat and figure out how to play as I haven't ever played. But, I do like card games like this as I have played some put out by Panini in the past. Hopefully this one is as easy as those ones are.

Leave me your thoughts on if you have ever played Topps Match Attax before and what you think about the cards. Are they just for play or are they a collectible as well?

Please make sure to take a minute out to thank Topps for providing this box for me to review and to add more cards to a future giveaway I will be hosting. Please follow me there to enter @SportCardCollec. Also follow Topps on all social media sites and visit their SITE, as well

  1. I don't play any of these trading card games. I have collected some over the years depending on the subject. Soccer I don't collect. As for this set WOW that front is very very busy. Too busy. They look like pinball machine headboards/scoreboard panels.

  2. Never played any of the Topps Attax stuff before... but I have a bunch of the Doctor Who cards that are displayed in a special binder. I enjoy soccer more and more with each passing year, but gotta admit... I'm mainly familiar with the San Jose Earthquakes players and not the international guys. Although... I love watching me some World Cup soccer.
