Super Collections: Stefen Kaufman's Ermsy Project Collection

Welcome back again to a new Super Collections. My buddy @Jake1725 shared my tweet about looking for Super Collectors on a Topps Project 2020/70 group he is in and I got multiple responses. So it will be fun sharing these as the details and pictures arrive in my email.

ORIGINS IN HIS WORDS:

"i got into project 2020 at card #91. took me some time to figure out how to buy and collect within the set. started buying ermsy companions from the first one, his ted williams but was chasing the random autos he inserted which i never got lol. so i bought them online, ebay and facebook groups. derek jeter was the first card i asked if he could add a pink panther to the card and a gift basket on another to poke fun at the famous gifts jeter gave to his one night stands. after getting the art in hand i was hooked. i actually went back and asked for 3 card sets embellished of this first p2020 base and companions. i can take better pics if you want anything more clear. i speak with ermsy every week, he asks advice on different things he’s doing. he’s a very cool person which i’m happy i met him through the process."

NUMBERS:

"here’s the 2 display cases (POSTED BELOW)  i have up with my embellished ermsy project 2020 and project 70 companions and base. i’m completing both sets. i currently have the biggest collection since ermsy didn’t do custom work until later in the project. i have all of the ermsy faps from topps, with trout being a silver/20. i also have the trout chase card /27 signed by ermsy. one of the most interesting cards i bought since i started was the only double signed companion, the bob gibson companion i bought from a guy in england. i don’t think the seller realized he had it. "

COLLECTION:

I think this a really cool collection. I can see why someone would be deeply into collecting Ermsy after seeing these.
